This week of asana practice focuses on specific postures and sequences within the Sivananda tradition to help the physical body grow stronger and regain flexibility. Each day will highlight a particular aspect of asana practice, helping the body become more attuned, balanced, and supple. It is often said that muscle length and strength go hand in hand—so as we increase flexibility, we also build strength.
- Monday – Focus on Sun Salutations & Alignment
- Tuesday – Focus on Forward-Bending Variations
- Wednesday – Focus on Back-Bending Variations
- Thursday – Focus on Inversions & Balancing
- Friday – Meditative Class : Long posture holds to cultivate strength
